A Metal-free Galaxy at z = 3.19? Evidence of Late Population III Star Formation at Cosmic Noon

We identified Metal-Pristine Galaxy COSMOS Redshift 3 (CR3), an extremely metal-poor galaxy at z=3.193, using JWST/NIRSpec, which provides compelling evidence of late Population III star formation during the cosmic noon.

Discovery of a Pair of Galaxies with Both Hosting X-Ray Binary Candidates at z = 2.544

We identified a spectroscopically confirmed galaxy pair at z=2.544 by JWST and Chandra whose X-ray emission is dominated by high-mass X-ray binaries, representing the highest-redshift non-AGN-dominated system with individual X-ray detections reported to date.
